EatFresh.. Delicious fresh food at home

11:00 AM

There are lots of food delivery chains coming up, but I have never tried one before. One of my friends recommended me EatFresh.com and I decided to try it this weekend.
The website is impressive with menu displayed as per the delivery area you select. The menu has some options with some Indian dishes (veg and chicken), an Italian pasta dish, something from Asian cuisine and deserts and coolers.

Every dish is complete in itself, with rice or paratha included, so that one person can order for himself. The name of the chef is also mentioned on it, and as you scroll over the image, the ingredients, calorie count of the items is available.

I am a chicken fan, so I decided to order 2 chicken dishes - one Indian and one Asian type. The ordering process is smooth and the delivery was done in around 30 mins. The packaging was good and the quantity was sufficient.

Irani Murgh Musallam with Lachcha Paratha :
This has a chicken gravy, rightly spiced and marinated juicy chicken on a nice smooth gravy. There were 3 laccha parathas, made of wheat instead of maida, which was very good. It was just the right preparation, neither too oily nor too chilly.
The quantity was very good, both the gravy and the parathas. Absolutely loved it!!!

Chicken Satay with Curry & Rice:
Asian dish, very well made. Boneless chicken barbecued with a sweetish sauce along with fried rice, salad and a Chinese gravy.
I rarely like Asian cuisine, but I must say this was no Indianized Chinese that is available at most of the outlets. It was made very well. The gravy was a bit sweet but the chicken satay was amazing.
The quantity was sufficient for one person - 3 pieces of Chicken Satay along with lots of rice.

Delivery - Very efficient, they delivered in 30 mins. in Prestige shantiniketan

Packaging - Loved  the boxes with Eatfresh logo and on the inside, well packed food in plastic containers along with forks and spoons. Every dish has the name of the chef printed on the label, which kind of gives an authentic feel to it. On the inside of the box, it says "How eatfresh works"

Food: Excellent quality, good taste

Price: Reasonable. A dinner for two would cost around Rs.500/- Every dish is around Rs.200 each which I feel is very reasonable.

All in all, a good experience. I would definitely order again from this place.
