This Restaurant is closed now - So do not refer this blog and go there !!
As the name suggests, this is a duplex bungalow converted
into a restaurant and I must say, very aesthetically done. The interiors are
rich, feels like a high end place. We went there on Halloween night with
family. The ground floor has a nice seating arrangement, with some large sofa seats which are very comfortable. When the ground floor gets occupied, they open up the first floor for guests. The first floor is rather
gloomy with dim lights but it does give bit of a privacy. The first floor
offers a pool table, some paintings and just one large seating arrangement
where you can dine with your friends and family. Light music plays in the
background which gives a warm feeling.
There are both options, a buffet and ala- carte. We decided to choose the buffet option.
Food:
The buffet contains literally everything, lots of variety and food options right from Indian, Italian, Asian and continental dishes. And all of them tastes amazing, it was one of the very good buffets I have had in Whitefield.
For starters, they had chicken kababs, chilly fish, kerala style pork, veg crispy, mushrooms, babycorn, some vegetarian tikki, paneer tikka, nachos, momos and lots.
Soups- I think they had cream of mushroom soup- which was really delicious and a hot and sour chicken.
Other things available on buffet were Thin crust pizza with lots of cheese (both veg and non veg), on demand Italian Pasta counter.
Main course- The starters were too filling, but the main course was also very yummy. Right from salads, vegetariab dishes, non veg dishes, raita, biryani, and bread baskets which he served on the table, the menu seemed pretty good.
Desserts- Again lots of options- chocolate, ice creams, Tiramisu, carrot halwa, cakes and fruits.
Ambiance
Very well decorated place. Some offbeat artifacts and nice lights.
Service
I would rate them 5/5 on service. The waiters are on their toes to help you, they customise buffet dishes for you sometimes, for e.g a kid may like less chilli. The son of the owner looks after the restaurant and ensures that customers are happy.
Cost
Very reasonable. The best buffet at this proce as per my opinion. Just Rs. 700/- per head and this includes all the taxes, VAT, service charges etc.
All in all a very nice evening... Overeating happened big time.. All the dishes tasted too good.. Must compliment their chefs. I would recommend this place to everyone.
